Mid Season Report

 After an encouraging start to the season with a squad of 16 players we hit a bad patch when within two weeks we lost 5 of our players for a variety of reasons, notably work commitments. For a few games we found ourselves playing with 9 or 10 players and despite the tremendous spirit showed we suffered a series of defeats.

 ..................however, we manage to sign 5 new players and we now believe that we have as good a squad as we have ever had both for commitment and skill. Having won our last four games we are now in a cup semi final and moving up the league table...............but most importantly enjoying our football and playing as a real team!!!

 Attendance at Wednesday training sessions has been fantastic and we all feel optimistic about the remainder of this season, and also next season!!
